Located on a remote, pristine mountain top on the North Carolina and Tennessee borders, the spectacular Elk Ridge Lodge majestically overlooks the beautiful Appalachian Wilderness Lake. The venue provides breathtaking views of some of the grand, unspoiled beauty of the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests. From the lodge decks, miles and miles of the Great Smokey and Blue Ridge Mountains spread in every direction The only sights and sounds in any direction are those of peaceful and serene nature.

The Elk Ridge Lodge is an absolute dream house. It's a 6500 sq. ft., authentic log lodge structure crafted from massive Canadian Red Cedar and Douglas Fir logs transported from the forests of British Columbia. The flooring is beautiful distressed Hickory. This fantastic lodge encompasses all of the facilities , amenities and appointments to satisfy even the most discriminating. It exemplifies rustic elegance and comfort. Elk Ridge is a truly exquisite vacation, rest, relaxation, and recreation accommodation. A honeymoon at Elk RIdge Lodge is an experience like no other and will be treasured for a lifetime. There is also no better place for executive business meetings or entertainment.

The retreat has three split levels. Five full bedrooms and two sleeper sofas, situated for maximum privacy, will accommodate up to 12 guests in uncompromised comfort. A huge great room provides the perfect atmosphere for wonderful gatherings of family and friends. The dining area seats 8 to 12 and couldn't be more pleasant, The gourmet kitchen can facilitate the preparation of any cuisine imaginable. For more casual meals, a covered patio grilling area, with a large propane grill and appropriate seating is perfect for barbecues. When it's time for fun, the entire first level is an unbelievable recreation room. Choices include a regulation pool table, gaming table, ping pong table, lodge style lounge with log burning fireplace, and full wet bar with bar and stools. The lodge has surround sound, with individual controls in every room for choice of input source. Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge. An 8 person, outdoor hot tub has an exceptional view of mountains and unbelievable sunsets for a soothing, relaxing end to the day. To top it off, a full theater adjoins the recreation room for viewing satellite HDTV, or DVD on a 106 in. screen in the luxurious comfort of three levels of oversized leather lounge chairs with, of course, theater quality, surround sound. If the outdoors are in order, there are miles of wilderness, a five acre pond with a waterfall is not far and a short hike down a quite mountain hollow yields access to the pleasures of the splendid Appalachian Wilderness Lake.
